Brother Gathering Foot for PQ Series

The gathering foot is useful for making gathers in lace or frills and for easing sleeve caps. This foot is a great addition for garment and home decorating applications and is used to gather a single thickness of material.

The amount of gathering or easing differs depending on the fabric being sewn, the tension of the upper thread, and the stitch length. Before sewing on your project, sew on a piece of scrap fabric similar to the fabric used in your project, and adjust the settings as necessary.
